Today is Monday.

Amelia's father lost his car keys in the sand. A man helped him to find them with a metal detective equipment, who was called the metal man or metal detector. They heard from him that there had been some treasures hidden by some pirates somewhere in the island and he had been looking for them but hadn't find them. They invited him to have dinner with them for thanking for his help. He was delighted. Aunt Mary's cooking was so good that they ate all of the foods.

Monday was not the day the weather report predicted. It was rainy, however, Amelia's father had to go to work so he left between rain squalls. Amelia and Jason couldn't get out to play. So they played skimboarding on the floor. At last the rain let up. They all went out to the town, mothers in the car and kids on their bikes.Jason told Amelia that was the main drag of the town, which means the principal street of a city or town. Jason told her that the tourists were dragged into the stores and they dragged themselves up and down the street.
