An Important Experience

Enjoyable

All what we experienced is necessary to our growth, no matter they are good or bad, they're parts of  our life. Of course some of them are important to us.

An important experience that I had recently was  I had “One-to-One Private Class” on Qing Class.

In fact, I hesitated whether I should have it  or not at the beginning. After all, Chinese are pragmatists, I'm one of them. Why should I pay this much for English learning? It's more than half of my monthly salary. I'm capable of teaching my students after so many years' teaching . I needn't attend any examinations or further  qualification for teaching. If the reason is I want to improve my English, there's  much study resource for free on the internet. What's more, I have some foreign pen pals to help me improve my English.

I thought about it for several days. Though I needn't ask for anybody's permission, I'm free to deal with my salary, I'm a mother, my son who is studying in senior high school needs money from me. And he'll spend more when he goes to a university in two years. My husband still pays off loan of the  house every month. I must find a reason to persuade myself. 

Why do I  improve my English? Not for examinations, not for pay rise or promotion. Well, I do it just because I like it. The process of learning makes me happy. I even have made some foreign friends during I learn English. It's one of my hobbies. But do I need to spend that much on my hobby? I asked myself for several times.

Finally I had the answer. I'd like to buy anything I can to make my family members happy, because I love them. And I need to be loved by myself too! If I'm happy, I'll be able  to love others more.

Then I met Wei. I like her to be my teacher. Her modest and gentle manners impresse me. I thought of myself a gentle teacher, but she is better. And I also love her stories and admire her rich experiences in different countries. Well, I enjoy the classes she gave me. I enjoy myself in English learning.

If she likes me too, maybe we can be friends later. Maybe I can start my rich and different life because those people who I meet on the way of learning.

People say if you meet a person who is trying hard to study, mostly he won't be a bad one. I'm lucky to meet some splendid people, they would enrich my life experience in different ways.
