'The play may begin at any moment,' I said.

'It may have begun already,' Susan answered.

I hurried to the ticket-office. 'May I have two tickets please ?' I asked.

'I'm sorry, we've sold out,' the girl said.

'What a pity!' Susan exclaimed.

Just then, a man hurried to the ticket-office.

'Can I return these two tickets?' he asked.

'Certainly,' the girl said.

I went back to the ticket-office at once.

'Could I have those two tickets please ?' I asked.

'Certainly, 'the girl said, 'but they are for next Wednesday's performance. Do you still want them?

'I might as well have them,' I said sadly.

知识笔记:

1、

现在来看看我们应该如何正确的发出/ʌ/这个音。

1)嘴巴张开一半左百,牙齿分开,下嘴唇略向下。

2)舌中部向硬颚抬起,不要接触到硬颚,舌尖和舌端两侧贴在下。

3)双唇向两边平展形成扁平状,震动声带,短促有力推出气流发出/ʌ/音。

注意:/ʌ/个短元音,要诀是发音时收小腹,注意与/æ/的区别。

练习感悟:

1、[aɪ]、/æ/和/ʌ/这三个,/ɑː/嘴巴放松张大,舌头在中间。/æ/嘴唇向两侧尽量分开,嘴巴张开较大,舌头在下面。/ʌ/嘴巴张开一半,舌头拱的

现在来看看我们应该如何正确的发出/ɑː/这个音。

1)嘴巴放松张大,上下牙齿全部张开,双唇呈圆形。

2)舌身后缩,舌尖离开下齿,舌后部稍抬高。

3)震动声带,推出气流发出/ɑː/音。像说:"啊"

/æ/是单元音前元音,这个音标在英式音标中的符号是/æ/,美式音标与之对应的发音符号也是[æ]。

现在来看看我们应该如何正确的发出/æ/这个音。

1)嘴唇向两侧尽量分开,嘴巴张开较大,上下齿之间大约可容纳两个手指的宽度。

2)舌前部在发音过程中抬起,舌尖稍微接触下齿背。

3)发音时逐渐压低舌头和下颚,尽可能夸张,震动声带,发出/æ/音。

注意:/æ/个短元音,但在实际发音中有一定的长度。 要注意与/e/的区别。

2、音标练习阶段,把类似的音标一起练,并且多练几天,时间充足,我们慢慢来。
