Today is Thursday.

I am going to read another book in my list, The Little Engine That Could.

There was a little happy train rumbling on the track. She was full of many kinds of toy animals, including giraffes, teddy bears and even a small elephant. She was full of dolls and the funniest clown. She was full of good food for boys and girls. She was going to transport these gifts to the children at the other side of the mountain. But her engine broke down. She couldn't move. A train with a new engine stopped beside her. The clown asked him to help her, but the new engine refused. Then a great engine is coming. Dolls and toys asked him to help her, but he refused too. The dolls and toys were very sad, but the clown saw an old engine was coming. They asked if he could help her, but the old engine was too tired to do. Then came a little blue engine. She agreed to have a try and hitched herself to the train. She tugged and pulled slowly upward the mountain. She said to herself,"I think I can. I think I can." When at last she climbed on the top of the mountain, all the dolls,toys and the clown shouted,"Hurray!"
