当我们需要将自己所写的Android App投放到国际市场(例如google play store)上时,往往需要考虑适配不同的语言,让自己应用在设置为不同语言的手机上正常显示对应语言,让应用在设置为英语的手机上显示英文,设置为中文的手机上显示为中文,这就需要我们为不同语种提供对应资源:strings.xml。而为要不同语言区域的独特版,并使应用正确的自动调用系统的语种,往往需要在res文件夹下的文件夹进行特别的命名,这里只说语言,所以只需要关注一下res文件夹下的values文件夹就可以了。
一般这样命名,来实现语种的适配:”values-国家或区域代码(ISO 639-1 语言代码)”,例如简体中文:“ values-zh-CN”;英语:“values-en”,也可以选择后跟两个字母组成的 ISO 3166-1-alpha-2 区域码(前带小写字母“r”),如中国台湾语“values-zh-rTW”。r 前缀用于区分区域码, 不能单独指定区域。而名为“values”的文件夹下是默认语种,当系统在应用中找不到对应语种时,就会使用values/strings.xml作为字符串资源文件。注意:如果应用没有默认语种,并且系统找不到对应语种,那么你的程序就会崩溃。 下面是用于举例的资源树

android 语言代码遵循ISO 639-1规范,除了之下三种多出一种等价的写法:
希伯来语 he或iw
印尼语 id或 in
依地语 yi或 ji
现在Android Studio3.0.可以显示对应语种的国旗,下面这样就定义了两个印地语,从国旗也可以看出来,这样并不会导致程序崩溃,但是应该不会有人这样写。
区域码遵循ISO 3166-1-alpha-2规范(前带小写字母“r”)
可以这样定义语言和区域码:
values-语言-区域码(前带小写字母“r”(是习惯性小写))
下面是常用的几个语言代码,不区分大小写:
values 默认(就是英语)
values-en 英语
values-zh 中文
values-zh-rCN 中文简体
values-zh-rTW 中文台湾
values-zh-rCN 中文香港
两种方法:
1.直接创建对应文件夹,然后创建文件夹下创建新的strings.xml
以添加中文文件为例
打开Android Studio,将项目文件树调整到Project视图->右击res->new->Directory->输入values-zh->Ok->右击刚刚新建的文件夹values-zh->new->File->strings.xml
然后就可以爱新建的string.xml中添加中文词条了
2.使用Android Studio3.0.1的工具
左侧文件资源树->android视图或Project视图都可以->new ->Android resource file->点击弹出框左下框中的Local->点击弹出框中部“>>”符号->直接选目标语言了(如下图)->最上面的对话框输入strings->点击右下OK,即创建成功
语言通过由两个字母组成的 ISO 639-1 语言代码定义,可以选择后跟两个字母组成的ISO 3166-1-alpha-2 区域码(前带小写字母“r”)。
可以这样命名资源文件夹:values-语言-区域码
这些代码不区分大小写;r 前缀用于区分区域码。 不能单独指定区域。
再加上下面三个特殊的语言区域码,除了满足ISO 639-1 Code规范,他们自己还多一种写法。他们就有两种可行的写法:
希伯来语 he或iw (其中iw不满足ISO 639-1 Code规范)
印尼语 id或 in (其中in不满足ISO 639-1 Code规范)
依地语 yi或 ji (其中ji不满足ISO 639-1 Code规范)
