* Why do some shine far longer
                than others?! *

              *何以致流芳千古*

When one hears the term "Muwatta", we usually think of the famous Hadith collection that was compiled by Imam Malik. Did you know, however, that there are in fact many other similar compilations with *identical* titles that were produced by scholars?

当一个人听到“穆瓦塔”这个词，我们通常会想到那本由伊玛目马力克编纂的著名圣训集。然而你知道吗？实际上，还有许多其他学者也创作了这样的汇编本，并使用了同样的"穆瓦塔"作为标题。

A group of people approached Imam Malik and said to him,

"You've troubled yourself so much by compiling this book, but so many other scholars have compiled similar ones!"

一些人来到伊玛目马力克身边，对他说:“有那么多其他学者在汇编类似的书了，你何必自找麻烦编纂这本呢？”

His response was breathtaking. He said:

تعلمن ما أريد به وجه الله تعالى

"You shall soon find out which of these works was produced for the sake of Allah."

但是伊玛目马力克的回应令人惊叹不已。

他说: "你们很快就会知道其中哪些是为了安拉的喜悦而创作的。”

Hundreds of years onward, the only "Muwatta" which many of us are aware of is that of Imam Malik's.

When our sincerity shines, Allah allows our efforts to do so as well.

几百年以来，我们所熟识的唯一一本"穆瓦塔"，就出自于伊玛目马力克。

当我们的虔诚闪耀时，安拉也会让我们所付出的努力同样流芳千古。
