Why I am Here?
Everything happen for a reason, especially for a selfish reason.
I want to be excellent trainer and coach. When I become a Toastmaster,
when I saw the senior member sharing one the stage. I desired my moment. I stared at them with eyes fixed, I imaged and promised in the heat I must be one of them shining on the stage. One years ago, I lingered for this TTT, but somehow no opportunity.
When I heard the TTT and awesome coach Jeff, I am so excited. Thanks for Helen.
I really believe all of them are best arrangements, anything is possible. Thanks for Jeff!
I remember Jeff's amazing word” you know what, you will realize it! Yes, I believe it.
Do what you love, love what you do; Stick what you love; Excel what you do !!

Find your selfish reason, it gives you the energy, the fuel and the determination to do your very best.

5 ways to engage your Audience
1/ Have a Chat with Friends
2/ Tell lots of true stories
3/ Show Vulnerability / Humility
4/ Ask & Listen
5/ Force Audience Participation
These tips are very useful, when I do the sharing or speech, I keep mind the tips. We create a relax and warm atmosphere, the audience will open their mind and love to open heart.
We are easily touched and influenced by true stories, when Jeff told us his personal stories failed in school, when Bobo did the speech with his family stories, we feel we are same, we have the similar stories. Jess and Bobo are most like our brother of Next door neighbour.
How to always engage with the audience?
Tips 1: ask the question, engage more member answer the question.
Tips 2: Ask simple question, relate to the purpose, and focus one key point

SCARF Model - Influencing Others with Dr David Rock
Before we start looking deeper into how the SCARF model can be used for collaborating and influencing people, it’s a helpful to look at some of the basics of the theory.
The SCARF model of behavior is a relatively new theory, first been published in 2008 by David Rock.
The word SCARF is an acronym, which stands for:
• Status – the relative importance to others.
• Certainty – the ability to predict future.
• Autonomy – the sense of control over events.
• Relatedness – the sense of safety with others.
• Fairness – the perception of fair exchanges.
