地道英语表达(三)

最近在准备考TESOL证书,里面有很多关于学习者的理论,让小编对英语教学和教师角色有了更深的理解。虽然说“先有good老师还是先有good学生”这个问题就和“先有鸡还是先有蛋”一样难以回答,但小编认为:本就是相互成就的关系,所以双方都尽力就很nice啦。

理想中的好老师:

一个好的教师会对自己的教学负责任,ta既会借助各种方法让习惯被动学习的学生开始积极起来,还会帮助那些过分依赖课本和老师的学生变得更加独立自主。长此以往,他的课堂也会更有活力,因为有了更多活跃的、对知识充满好奇的学生。

好学生,抑或好老师,都不是三言两语随便定义的

I used to be a passive learner in my high school. At that time, I just listened to the teacher and took notes without too much critical thinking. As a result, I hardly ranked first in any of the subjects.

Later, when I entered the university, I found that we should learn to be accountable for our study since university teachers don't care about us as high school teachers do.
