旅行者无法抑制探索世界的冲动，所以他总是从一个地方去到另一个地方，无处归属。

Neither Here nor There（《无处归属》）是比尔·布莱森从挪威到伊斯坦布尔的一路见闻，书中写巴黎人的傲慢，写意大利司机横冲直撞，写催人昏睡的挪威电视，写以铲除树篱为荣的英国推出机……

他也写路上的风景。在西西里附近的Capri岛上，天色渐晚，海风微拂，海浪在悬崖下低语，月光如碎银般泻下，空气中是阵阵柠檬、忍冬、松木的香气……
