The Syllabus

    Mr.Morrie热爱dance 和music ，直到他被诊断出amyotrophic lateral sclerosis （渐冻症）,所剩寿命不到2年的时间。秋天很快过去了，对于教授来说，therapy became a regular routine.But the idea of quitting did not occur to him，甚至他打趣地问visitors ：I have to pee .Would You mind helping ？面对病痛的折磨，谁又能做到像教授这般豁达呢？

For all that was happening to him ,his voice was strong and inviting ,and his mind was vibrating with a million thoughts .He was intent on proving that the word "dying " was not synonymous with "useless ".

后来，教授参加了一个大学同学的funeral ,沮丧的回到家中。经过一番思索。Morrie 有了一个好的idea —living funeral.是啊，话就是要对活人说啊，死了也没有机会听到了，又与何人说呢？

And all the heartfelt things we never get to say to those we love ,Morrie said that day .His "living funeral "was a rousing success .

2. He developed asthma in his sixties. (“得病”的动词可以用develop，类似的表达还有come down with)

invite是“邀请”，不过inviting却表示“吸引人的”。因此“迷人的微笑”可以说an inviting smile，“空气怡人”可以说The air is inviting。
