<1>  The perspective that a person has on human nature will color the way they look at all types of behavior , not just criminal behavior . Three of the major ones are people are basically good , it’s society and environment that influences them . Another perspective says that people are very undisciplined . Unless society provides the tools to discipline them or control them , they will engage in these types of behaviors .And then there’s the perspective that says that people are neither good nor bad , they are neutral . And it’s their interactions with other people that result in this type of behavior .

  Sociology , psychology , and psychiatry .

The risk factors (危险因子) things like poverty , experiences at school , peer rejection .

The development approach (发展派) which looks at a person’s entire life span and the things that they experienced throughout their life .

<2> Eysenck’s Theory (艾森克理论)

 Hans Eysenck was primarily a behaviorist . RAS(the reticular activating system )网络激活系统。

  And what the reticular activating system does is that it arouses the cerebral cortex and alert it to the fact that stimuli and going to be incoming . And the cerebral cortex is where most high level thinking takes place . RAS plays a very important part . because it arouses and alerts your cerebral cortex that stimuli are coming in .

Extroversion and introversion(心理外向型over-aroused和内向型 under-aroused)

The extroverts , according to Eysenck’s theory, are much more likely to engage in criminal behavior . For most of us fall somewhere in the middle ,what he referred to ambiverts ,(中间性格者) which means we have a moderate amount of arousal and we have a moderate amount of being able to work on that stimuliation and how much we receive .

The autonomic nervous system is more concerned with things like how fast you’re breathing , if you are perspiring  or not , how stress affects you .

Then people score very high on these areas :introversion ,extroversion , neuroticism,
