1.1.1 Memo

 

如果经过碎片整理，磁盘空间压缩等操作，设置的增量或者差异备份的第一个备份文件将会和完整备份一样大。

系统盘的增量或者差异备份任务，当遇到系统还原之后，再次备份的第一个备份文件大小将和整盘备份一样大。

 

1.1.2 使用acronis备份服务器active directory

 

附注：使用磁盘镜像的方式对预控的active directory进行备份并非推荐方法，但却是最简单的方法 备份策略

 

1.         备份文件保留策略

a)         增量备份频率为每一天备份一次

b)         备份任务每个月重置一次，新建文件夹存放备份文件

2.         在同一时间段，服务器必须留存2份备份文件集

a)         当月的备份文件集

b)         上一个月的备份文件集

操作方法

使用备份计划任务(Setup a backup scheduled Task)对服务器的数据进行周期性自动备份。
 

1.         选择备份我的计算机；Backup My Computer
 

2.         选择备份系统分区；Select the System Partition
 

3.         Select Backup Archive Location
 

4.         创建存放备份文件集的文件夹，文件夹推荐使用备份日期作为命名方法；Create a folder Using current date as the name

a)         2010-05

b)         2010-06

c)         2010-07

5.         命名备份文件的名字，推荐使用备份类型+备份时间的方式命名文件；Create TIB file Using current date and backup type as the name

a)         System_backup_2010-6_.tib

b)         Active_Directory_backup_2010-6_.tib

c)         Exchange_backup_2010-6_tib

6.         选择备份类型为增量备份；Select Create an incremental backup
 

7.         设置备份任务选项；Backup Creation Options。

a)         选择手动设置选项；Set the options manually
 

b)         设置压缩级别为最高（默认是Normal）；Compression level:maximum

压缩级别越高，占用的时间越大。
 

8.         增加备份任务附注；Add comments for the archive
 

9.         设置任务计划；Setup task running scheduling

a)         Daily
 

10.     设置具体的备份计划时间点；Select the time and day you want this task to start

a)         Everyday

b)         Start time:23:00
 

11.     输入运行该备份任务的帐号信息，需要管理员权限；Enter the name and password
 

12.     Finish

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error creating the Shadow Copy

a)         1. The error may be caused by having a 3rd party VSS Provider installed on the problem computer. If this is the case and the backup job is set to allow VSS to select the provider, VSS will assign the 3rd party provider to the backup job. Since the 3rd party provider is usually only designed to work with the software which installed it, VSS will error out when attempting to snapshot the system. This type of problem is described in the following Microsoft article:

c)         In order to force the Backup Exec backup job to use the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider, edit the backup job and go to the Advanced Open File tab. Under "Open file configuration" select "Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Server (Windows 2003 and later)". Then, click the drop-down box next to "Snapshot provider" and set it to "System - Use Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider". Submit the job after this change is made.

d)         If the backup job is set to use the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider and is still getting the error, ensure that the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider service is set to a start type of either Manual or Automatic. This error will be generated if the service is set to Disabled.
