喜欢的理由：表达很生动、brother对睡觉/梦境依依不舍的感觉非常有画面感。

twine：twist、interweave

A Try: Even I have been a adult for 5 years, I am still emotionally dependent on my parents, twined with respect and affection.

2. Their paper grow halfhearted, paragraphs trailing off, sometimes midsentence.

trailing off: to become gradually fainter

喜欢的理由：很新颖的表达，第一次见到，查了词典后发现很好用。

A Try:  Vocational skills of unemployees due to seasonal change are easy to trail off because they have chance to  practice the skills.

关于小说内容：

第一章就有满满的悬念，每一个角色都有心照不宣的秘密，它们成为伏笔，让我忍不住去猜秘密到底是什么：妈妈为什么出走？爸爸和学生之间的关系会发展成什么？Nath为什么要在最开始替Lydia说谎，为什么到Lydia失踪也坚持不说Jack和Lydia的关系--这个有在第一章里透露直接原因（已经说了那么多的谎了，现在告诉父母Jack和Lydia的关系是在自找麻烦），但是根本原因是什么？期待继续阅读下去揭开一个个谜底的时刻。

关于阅读过程：

刚开始是只看文本阅读的，没有听有声书因为我认为默读速度更快。但是读着读着发现，默读容易飘，一句话要读几遍，反而效率低。于是我跟着有声书进行阅读，并且发现有节奏的、有起伏的有声书其实能提高阅读效率。
