What is Academic English ？
Unlike Comprehensive English, which is used in everyday life,Academic English is used in relatively formal occasions, such as in-depth communication, academic discussions,speeches,debates and so on.
It requires students to flexibly use argumentation, critical thinking, and other means.

Difficulties
At the beginning, I encountered difficulties in the topic selection of papers.
Difficulties in topic selection:
As the saying goes, "If you choose the topic well, the article will be easy to write. "I am a student majoring in Chinese Language and Literature. Because this major contains a lot of things, it gives me masses of choices. But from another perspective, it also makes me dazzled and hesitant.

Principles.
However , I successfully selected the topic according to three principles.
First, I must ensure that it is original and innovative.
Second, I'm able to use my professional knowledge very naturally.
Third, I should do what I can. Considering that my English level is limited, it is better for me to choose a small but specific topic.
