我们想了解； “生命对我们来说意味着不断地将我们所是或遇到的一切转化为光和火焰”；我们就像《卡拉马佐夫兄弟》中的米提亚——“不想要百万财富，而只想得到问题答案”；我们要抓住过去事物的价值和视角，从日常环境的漩涡中把自己拉出来。我们想知道小事是小事，大事是大事，以免为时过晚；我们希望现在看到的事物就像它们永远的样子——“在永恒的光中”。

We want to understand; "life means for us constantly to transform into light and flame all that we are or meet with"; we are like Mitya in The Brothers Karamazov -- "one of those who don't want millions, but an answer to their questions"; we want to seize the value and perspective of passing things, and so to pull ourselves up out of the maelstrom of daily circumstance. We want to know that the little things are little, and the big things big, before it is too late; we want to see things now as they will seem forever -- "in the light of eternity."
