介词+which做连接词的从句

上次问过这个句式，eric你说介词是和后面的动词搭配的，英语惯用法把它提前。我发现这种从句我可以大概读懂，但是尝试自己写一个句子出来时却觉得很困难。这种句子有规律可循吗？

查字典遇到的问题

斜线加粗部分是什么意思呢？

我个人本着“从阅读中发现规律”的原则，发现testimony这个词前面很少跟a（作为n.有跟the的情况也有什么都不跟的情况，详细见本周复盘笔记）但是发现查字典时有提到跟a相关的知识，因此想确认一下~
