东风破

一盏离愁 孤单伫立在窗口

Grievous a toast undrunken, alone by window I remained

我在门后 假装你人还没走

Lodging there behind, in thy lingering breaths retained

旧地如重游 月圆更寂寞

To the haunt a visit repay, lonelier under yon harvest moon

夜半清醒的烛火 不忍苛责我

Candlelight ere crack of dawn, for me doth gently croon

一壶漂泊 浪迹天涯难入喉

A flask for us drifters, thus mixed hence hard to quaff

你走之后 酒暖回忆思念瘦

Drinking after thou leavest, albeit rewarmed died thy trails off

水向东流 时间怎么偷

All flowing waters eastwards, nigh no time stolen to keep still

花开就一次成熟 我却错过

Once blossoming for thy bloom, through thy beauty I beheld ill

谁在用琵琶弹奏 一曲东风破

At the strings of pipa, by whom plucked our tune of yore

岁月在墙上剥落 看见小时候

Off walls old coats peeled, ‘neath our youth had waxen amour

犹记得那年我们都还很年幼

Reminisce still those ages, when thou wert here and mine

而如今琴声幽幽 我的等候你没听过

Faint yet this tune, not my awaiting passed to ears of thine

谁在用琵琶弹奏 一曲东风破

At the strings of pipa, by whom plucked our tune of yore

枫叶将故事染色 结局我看透

Stories grow autumn-dyed, with endings alike methought before

篱笆外的古道我牵着你走过

There the paths by fences, well-trodden as thy hands in mine

荒烟漫草的年头 就连分手都很沉默

There the years of weeds, ended in shared silence of thine
