Overview of the writing process

1. Prewriting (70% time)

(1) Collect, synthesize, and organize information
(2) Brainstrom take-home messages
(3) Work out ideas away from the computer
(4) Develop a road map/outline

2. Writing the first draft (10% time)

(1) Putting your facts and ideas together in organized prose
快速完成初稿，不要完美主义，不要边写边修改
(2) Focus on the ideas and logical organization

3. Revision (20% time)

(1) Read your work out loud
(2) Do a verb check
给动词划线然后查看

在每一段的空白处用短语或句子概括main point
移动段落将相似的想法放在一起甚至合并为一段
